Objective: jurisprudence commentaries are the oldest thematic interpretation that collect the verses of divine decrees on any subject and express various aspects of human life based on the Prophet family's traditions. The analysis of literary style and rhetorical arts is one of the Safavid era interpretations, which was carried out by Abul Hasan Ali b. Hasan Zawarei, under the title of Tarjomˉa Al-Khawas or Zawarei’s interpretation. The purpose of the research is to introduce a newly found copy in the Astan Quds Razavi library with number 1217, to examine some features of the inscription and codicology of this copy and to analyze it scientifically from the figures of speech perspective.
Research/ Method Approach: In this applied research, the literary stylistic scientific method and case sampling was used to investigate and identify the stylistic and literary features of the Tarjomˉa Al-Khawas interpretation. It seeks to answer the question: what are the prose style characteristics of Tarjomˉa Al-Khawas (such as writing, grammatical features and some figures of speech)?
Findings and Conclusions: The findings showed that Zawarei was inspired by Mullah Hossein Vaez Kashfi's method in his interpretation in the Mavaheb 'Elliyah, but he interpreted the verses on the dignity and status of Prophet's family in more detail. Other findings of this research are the recognition of the stylistic and literary features of this copy in terms of "writing features", "grammatical features" and "some figures of speech". The results show that this newly found copy is useful in editing and recording the original words of the text, because old writing styles are used. This copy can be the basis of the text critical editing or one of the most important copies of this book and contribute to the higher validity of the editing.
