Objective: One of the research fields in the Persian language and literature is codicology. The researcher tries to make a revised text as close as possible to the original text available to the audience and other researchers. The purpose of this article is to introduce the editing of Nazmi Behbahani’s Diwan manuscript, Safavid poet, and to describe his life, along with a look at his poetic style and calligraphy features.
 
ResearchMethod/ Approach: The research method is descriptive, and the researcher has tried to introduce this unknown poet to the audience and researchers of Persian literature history based on the information collected through documentary and library methods. There is only one manuscript of Nazmi Behbahani's Diwan in the Parliament library. The Diwan has been edited based on this copy and in a critical way. Another copy is available in the library of Tehran University, which is a version of the original copy, and it is cannot considered as an independent copy.
Findings and Conclusions: The findings show that there is only one copy of Nazmi Behbahani's Diwan, which is kept in the Parliament library, and it is titled Nazmi Behbahani's Diwan (Mohammed Mirak Behbahani, Nazmi), 11^th AH/17 AD century. It is registered by retrieval No. 9100f and Parliament Library document No. IR10-41670. Also, it shows that Nazmi is a capable poet in odes, praises the elders of the Safavid era, mourns the religion elders, and also in using historical material. He was able to introduce mystical thoughts into the ode and is capable in other poetic forms as well.
